Ivanka Trump may be gracing the halls of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
According to "internal documents" obtained by CNET, the most palatable Trump is set to appear on a keynote panel alongside Consumer Technology Association (CTA) President Gary Shapiro on Wednesday, January 8.
CNET doesn't give much detail about these internal documents. However, it also discovered that a CES website has a placeholder card for "Ivanka Trump" in its list of upcoming livestreams.
Mashable reached out to the CTA (which runs CES) to confirm whether these rumors are true, and will report back when we know more.
Trump has inserted herself into many of the White House's technology efforts, including the recent farcical visit to an Apple facility in Texas. Trump is also buddies with Michael Kratsios, the Chief Technology Officer of the United States (in the government's Office of Science and Technology Policy), and has been helping to bolster his agenda of China-free 5G expansion.
Will Ivanka recoil in disgust at the hordes of gadget geeks at CES? Or will she embrace us with open, well dressed arms? We shall have to see! CES 2020 takes place in Las Vegas from January 7 - 11.
